(VOVworld) – The Hue Monuments Conservation Centre reports that it has welcomed over 2 million tourists, about one thirds of them foreigners, since the beginning of this year.

The center will organize more activities to encourage the participation of the community and businesses in promoting Hue’s values.  Some places in the Hue Imperial Citadel, the central Thua Thien-Hue province, will open to welcome visitors at night from next summer. 
It aims to offer tourists more time to cover interesting places in the Citadel. Since 1994, the Complex of Hue Monuments has hosted 33 million visitors, including 12 million foreigners. In 2015, the complex welcomed over 2.3 million visitors.
