(VOVworld) – This year, the Advisory Council on Religious Affairs of the Vietnam Fatherland Front made contributions to Party and State policies and guidelines related to religions and belief.

The Council got involved in drafting the Law on Belief and Religion, policies to encourage religions to take part in socio-economic development, and nominated outstanding religious dignitaries as candidates for the 14th National Assembly election. At a review conference held by the Advisory Council on Religious Affairs on Tuesday, participants set tasks for next year, focusing on refining Party and State policies on religious affairs and helping to implement the Law on Belief and Religion at the local level.
