Indian naval ships visit Vietnam

(VOVWORLD) -Two Indian naval ships, INS KOLKATA and INS SHAKTI under the command of Aditya Hara, Captain of INS Kolkata, docked at Cam Ranh International Port on Saturday.

During the 4-day visit, the 735 officers and sailors will make a courtesy call at the Khanh Hoa provincial People’s Committee and the Naval Region 4 High Command, and play friendly sports games with Vietnamese naval cadres and soldiers. They will hold a joint drill with the Vietnamese Navy in communications exchange and search and rescue at sea.

The Indian naval ships’ visit is part of activities to implement agreements between the two countries’ armies to deepen bilateral defense cooperation.
