(VOVworld) – Indonesian President Joko Widodo promises to improve the efficiency of his new government, in order to promote agricultural and aqua-cultural production, revitalise traditional markets, facilitate young workers in the creative economy, and improve the people’s ability to enter high-quality educational and medical services. Andi Widjajanto, a senior advisor to Widodo, said that the new government’s ministries would be decreased from 34 to 27. He added that Widodo’s plan to reform the cabinet was aimed to improve the quality of civil servants and prevent corruption by reducing the number of civil servants, reforming administrative bureaucracy, and rotating officials.
