Int'l conference vows to develop sustainable energy
(VOVWORLD) - The 28th meeting of the International Energy Charter Conference wrapped up on Wednesday in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. Participants announced the Ashgabat Energy Charter Declaration, which stressed the importance of fostering innovation in developing energy resources.

It also called on member states to facilitate investment, prevent and manage investment-related disputes, continue to broaden and deepen membership of the Energy Charter Treaty, and improve energy security through strengthened international cooperation to guarantee energy transmission and facilitate trade.
