Int’l Day of Yoga to be observed in Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - An event celebrating the 5th International Day of Yoga will be held this Saturday, said Rajesh Uike, Deputy Chief of Mission of the Indian Embassy in Vietnam, at a press conference in Hanoi on Monday.

The opening ceremony will start at 5.30p.m., featuring a mass yoga performance by 800 yogis. The Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City will arrange a similar celebration city next Saturday, while charitable activities will be organized in 10 other localities. Uike said the increasing popularity of yoga in Vietnam helps connect people of the two nations and foster the India-Vietnam friendship.
