Iran vows to maintain missile program
(VOVWORLD) - General Hossein Baqeri, the Iranian Armed Forces chief of staff, said Iran will continue to strengthen its defense capabilities and deterrent power, including its missile program.

The Iranian armed forces will never allow any interference in its defense sphere or missile power, Baqeri was quoted as saying by the Tasnim news agency on Thursday. Iran’s friends and foes all acknowledge that Iran has become an "influential international actor" thanks to its internal capacity, he said, adding that the Iranian armed forces are prepared for decisive reaction to hostile actions.
