(VOVWORLD) - An Iraqi airstrike in eastern Syria on Sunday, supported by the US-led coalition, killed 36 Islamic State militants, including some of the group’s leaders.
Two warplanes destroyed a building where ISIS chiefs were meeting near Hajin town, 50 kilometers from the Iraqi border, a coalition official said.
