Italian region boosts cooperation in tourism and culture with Vietnam

(VOVworld) – Venice, Italy, wants more tourism cooperation with Vietnam. While receiving Vietnamese ambassador to Italy Cao Chinh Thien in Venice, Paola Mar – council member for Venice tourism – said she was impressed by the Vietnamese land, people, and diversity of cultural heritage.

She said the Venice administration supports an enhanced partnership with Vietnam, adding that Venice has set up a center to promote investment in Venice and local companies’ investment in other countries, including Vietnam. She promised to build a bridge between the two business communities. 

Ambassador Thien said he appreciated Ms. Mar’s positive assessment of Vietnam and highlighted the growing collaboration between Vietnam and Italy. Thien asked local authorities to consider concrete cooperation activities such as inviting Vietnam to participate in local cultural and tourism festivals.
