(VOVworld) – The Japanese government will deploy its Smart Community model in the Hanoi Software Technology Park located in Long Bien district. Representing the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry, Vice President Toshiharu Wantanabe of Toshiba Corporation told the Hanoi People’s Committee that this model, the first of its kind in Southeast Asia, will minimize management cost by providing reliable power, clean water, broadband Internet access, and smart healthcare services, while using environment-friendly equipment capable of recycling energy and lowering carbon dioxide emissions.
