Japan prepares for North Korea missile launch

(VOVworld) – The Japanese government has asked the local administrations to check the J-alert early warning system to transmit information in emergency cases.

The move took place after the US’s Fox Business Network on November 1 quoted a North Korean official as saying that North Korea would launch a Musudan ballistic missile in the next 3 days.

On October 5 and 10, the US and South Korea detected that North Korea had conducted missile launches but all failed. Chief Cabinet Secretary Suga Yoshihide said Japan is collecting and analyzing information relating to North Korea’s possible missile launch.
