Japan, Singapore vow close cooperation for US-North Korea summit
(VOVWORLD) - Japan and Singapore agreed during talks on Monday that they will closely collaborate toward the first US-North Korea summit next month.

Singaporean Defense Minister Ng Eng Hen said Singapore is ready for the meeting and hopes it will have a positive outcome. Japanese defense chief Onodera said the talks must lead North Korea to take concrete actions toward complete, verifiable and irreversible abandonment of all its ballistic missiles and weapons of mass destruction.
