Japan, US and South Korea warn North Korea against further provocations.

South Korean Vice Foreign Minister Lim Sung-nam said at a press conference after a trilateral talk with US Deputy Secretary of State Tony Blinken and Japanese Vice Foreign Minister Akitaka Saiki in Seoul the same day. Mr. Blinken said the three countries have agreed to expand cooperation on sanctions in response to North Korea’s provocations. Mr. Saiki said North Korea’s continued provocations, including its failed launch of an intermediate-range ballistic missile last week, are “impermissible” and a “stark violation” of UN Security Council resolutions.
