Japanese media optimistic about Vietnamese football
(VOVWORLD) - Japan’s NHK television lauded the Vietnam young football team’s achievements at the AFC U23 Championship 2018 and said Vietnam could earn a ticket to the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020.

A NHK report praised Vietnamese football’s outstanding progress through a nutrition and training program. The report selected striker Nguyen Cong Phuong as Vietnam’s most impressive player in the last few years and praised Vietnamese fandom.
