Japan’s Mie prefecture wants to boost cooperation with Vietnam’s localities

(VOVworld) - Governor of Japan’s Mie prefecture, EIkei Sukuzi, has expressed his hope to accelerate cooperation between Mie prefecture and Vietnamese localities. At his reception for visiting Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan Nguyen Quoc Cuong, Suzuki extended the honor that Mie prefecture will be hosting the 2016 G7 Summit, through which, Mie prefecture can promote its cooperative potentials.

Ambassador Cuong pledged his support for Mie prefecture’s closer cooperation with Vietnamese localities.

During the visit, Cuong met with Nakamura Shinichi, Chairman of the Mie provincial legislature, the Friendship Association with Vietnam, and several local enterprises.
