Joining hands to ease the pain of Agent Orange

(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin and the online newspaper of the Communist Party of Vietnam jointly held a program called “Joining hands to ease the pain of Agent Orange” in Hanoi on Saturday. The event was part of activities to mark Day for Vietnamese Agent Orange Victims August 10th. Secretary General of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Vu Trong Kim sent his greetings to Agent Orange victims across Vietnam.

He hailed the Vietnam Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin (VAVA) as a bridge connecting the victims with the community: Caring for policy beneficiaries aims to create social consensus and strengthen national unity in the cause of national construction and defense. As our independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity have been tested, the humanitarian activity of each and every one of us will help to relieve the past’s consequences and create strength for the future.”
