Journalists honored on Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day

(VOVWORLD) - An art performance was held on Thursday night in the National Radio Center in Hanoi to mark the 93rd Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

Co-hosted by the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and Life and Law newspaper, the event honored journalists who have dedicated a lot of efforts to Vietnam’s industrialization and modernization.

A delegation led by Vice President and Secretary General of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee Hau A Lenh visited several newspaper agencies. Mr. Lenh said he believes journalists will continue to stand with the Front in popularizing the Party’s guidelines and the government’s policies and laws.

In Dong Thap, the provincial People’s Committee met with local media outlets to review work done during the first 6 months and plans for the rest of the year. Four winners of the National Radio Broadcasting Festival 2017 received certificates.

The Vietnam Journalists Association in Long An awarded 29 prizes to winners of a local press contest. 134 entries were submitted by 70 members of the Association.
