KOICA helps Vietnam build social housing policy

(VOVWORLD) - The Ministry of Construction and the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) have signed the minutes of a discussion on a technical assistance project for social housing policy in Vietnam until 2030.

At the signing ceremony in Hanoi on Thursday, Deputy Minister of Construction Phan Thi My Linh said the project is vital to State management work in the housing field. The Ministry plans to revise the Housing Law and outline a national strategy for social housing development until 2020.    

Director of KOICA’s Vietnam Office Kim Jin-oh called the signing a good beginning for cooperation in 2018, and expressed his hope that the two sides will coordinate even more effectively in the months to come.
