(VOVworld) - The Library of the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum has presented 1,600 books, worth 2,800 USD, to local border guards in Dac Glei district on the 55th traditional day of the Border Guards and the 25th All-People’s Border Day.

Senior lieutenant colonel Nguyen Luong Dien, Political Commisar of the Dac Blo border station in Dac Glei district, said: “A reading room was built inside the station to serve border guards at their free time. Books have helped them better understand the law and broaden their general knowledge.”
A bookshelf has now been placed in almost every border station in Kon Tum province, serving both the soldiers and civilians.
