(VOVworld) - The 2016 Dien Bien Border Spring Fair opened in Dien Bien Phu city on Wednesday involving 260 domestic and foreign enterprises.

Main items on display are industrial products, handicraft products, farm produce, and food, electronics, garments and textiles, footwear, and local specialties.

The event promotes socio-economic potentials of Dien Bien province and supports domestic enterprises in advertising their products and services. This is also a chance for enterprises in Vietnam’s north western region seek trading partners and cooperation with those from Lao and Thailand.

The fair will run through next Wednesday.
