(VOVworld) - Party and State leaders of Laos have welcomed the on-going visit of Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc saying that it will significantly contribute to the growth of the Vietnam-Laos ties, especially when the two countries celebrate the Vietnam-Laos Friendship and Solidarity Year 2017.

Following his talks with Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith on April 26, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc met with General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) and President of Laos Bounnhang Volachith, National Assembly Chairwoman Pany Yathoutu, and standing member of the LPRP Secretariat and Vice President Phankham Viphavan.

During the meetings, PM Phuc affirmed to his hosts that the Party, State, Government and people of Vietnam give the top priority to the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation with Laos, considering the ties as a priceless treasure and a vital factor of the revolutionary causes of both nations.
