At the talk, the first of its kind, PM Thongloun Sisoulith said Vietnam is the third biggest investor in Laos. This has illustrated close ties between the two countries in all fields and priorities the Lao government has given to Vietnamese investors.

The government leader said that Laos will continue to facilitate the best conditions for foreign investors including those from Vietnam to do business and investment in Laos.

He called on Vietnamese enterprises to pursue long-term strategic business in Laos and focus on potential investment areas toward benefiting both countries.

PM Thongloun Sisoulith said the Lao government encouraged investors from around the world to compete fairly and abide by Laos’ law.
