(VOVworld) - Laos’ major newspapers have praised the Vietnam-Laos relationship, affirming that the visit by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc will create new momentum for the two countries to deepen ties.

An article in Pasaxon newspaper noted that the Prime Minister’s official visit strengthened and expanded the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.

Lao Phatthana said that the Vietnam-Laos special relationship has developed fruitfully in all spheres. The visit will boost the Vietnam-Laos traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation in an intensive, practical and effective manner.

“Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc’s visit will create a new momentum for the Vietnam-Laos special relationship” was the title of an article run on Pathet Lao newspaper. Vientiane Mai and Vientiane Times also featured the visit by the Prime Minister and his wife. In addition, the Lao National Radio and Television Stations spent much time covering the visit, affirming it will further deepen bilateral ties.
