The Anakonda drill aims to enhance allied defense capabilities and readiness to deal with any possible regional disasters. Around 3,000 vehicles, 105 aircraft and 12 naval vessels will also be involved in the maneuvers. “Anakonda” has been conducted by Polish military forces since 2006. In 2012, the drill was included in NATO’s military drill plans with the participation of US and Canadian forces.
