(VOVworld) – In an interview with the Itar-TASS news agency on Thursday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov confirmed that Russian flights to Syria carried humanitarian aid and military equipment under their contracts.

He said Russia will provide more support to Syria if the Syrian government requests. He said Russian military experts have been working in Syria to help the Syrian army use Russian weapons.
