The deputies suggested that the Government closely watch the land acquisition and compensation to avoid mistakes and conflicts.

The National Assembly continued their discussions on the draft law on fishery on Friday afternoon.  Deputies suggested adding regulations on preferential policies in tax, credit, investment in surveillance system, disease warning, and modern equipment for offshore fishing. They called for a review of regulations on criteria of marine reserves to avoid overlapping with the Law on Bio-Diversity and clarification of the State responsibility for marine protection to match the Law on Bio-Diversity.

Many deputies were interested in the establishment of a fisheries resource surveillance agency. Some said the agency should be set up at central and provincial levels given the urgency of fishery management.
