(VOVworld) – On Wednesday, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan wished Catholic dignitaries and followers in Dak lak province a merry Christmas.

Mr. Nhan hailed contribution by the Catholics in Dak Lak to building national unity and charity activities. He asked them to do more to respond to the new rural development program, lead a cultural and secular life and contribute more to national construction and defense.

On this occasion, leaders of Nam Dinh province visited and congratulated priests, Catholic dignitaries and followers in the province. The Catholics were asked to be more united and actively participate in patriotic movements and lead a good secular life.

Leaders of Binh Duong province wished Catholic and Protestant dignitaries and followers a merry Christmas. The local leaders encouraged the Catholics to further contribute to the province’s socio-economic development.
