Leaders pay tribute to revolutionaries

(VOVWORLD) - Tran Quoc Vuong, Politburo member and permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat, offered incense to martyrs at a monument and visited revolutionaries in Dak Lak province on Friday as part of his tour of Dak Lak. Mr. Vuong expressed his boundless gratitude and profound respect to those who sacrificed their lives for national independence and freedom and for people’s happiness.

The same day, Tran Thanh Man, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, presented gifts to policy beneficiaries in Quang Xuong district, Thanh Hoa province. Afterwards at a working session, Mr. Man called on local authorities to give more care to national contributors.

On the occasion of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day, on Friday, Pham Minh Chinh, head of the Party Central Committee’s Organization Commission, visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiaries in Quang Tri province.

The Dong Thap provincial People’s Committee organized a funeral ceremony for 85 sets of remains of Vietnam voluntary soldiers and experts, who died in Cambodia.
