List of centrally proposed candidates for National Assembly election approved
(VOVworld) – On Thursday, the Presidium of the Vietnam Fatherland Front held the 3rd consultative meeting and approved a list of 197 candidates nominated by central agencies for the election of the 14th National Assembly.
The bibliographies of the candidates were sent to voter meetings for public comment after the 2nd consultative meeting. President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Vice President of the National Electoral Council Nguyen Thien Nhan said: “This last consultative meeting is an important part of the National Assembly election process. Frank discussions are needed to nominate the best candidates for the election.”
The candidates’ campaigns will be held between April 27 and May 21.
