(VOV) – The Buddhist Shangha’s Executive Board of Thua Thien Hue province on Wednesday organized street parades and processions with flowers and messages to mark the 2557^th birthday of Lord Buddha

On this occasion, many activities are underway in Hue city including floating 7 lotuses on the Perfume river, Buddha bathing, and processions. On Tuesday, Thua Thien-Hue leaders visited and congratulated the Buddhist Shangha’s Executive Board of Thua Thien-Hue on the occasion of the Buddha’s birthday. The leaders spoke highly of the great contribution of Buddhist dignitaries and followers to the province’s socio-economic development.
