(VOVworld) – President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan visited the Vietnam Medical Association, Military Hospital 354, the General Department of Logistics, and the National Lung Hospital on the occasion of Vietnamese Doctors’ Day February 28. He acknowledged the contributions of doctors and medical workers to Vietnam’s public healthcare.

The HCM city Health Department held a ceremony to mark the occasion.

At a commemorative ceremony in Binh Duong, Vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Dang Minh Hung said efforts will be made to prevent epidemics and increase the number of residents with medical insurance. More than 110 collectives and individuals were honored on this occasion.
