Igor Yatsenko representing the People’s Militia of Lugansk, said all units pulled back their heavy weapons in compliance with the Minsk-2 agreement last Sunday. He noted that the force remains ready for combat if necessary.

Denis Pushilin, a representative of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, said Monday that Ukraine’s call to deploy an international mission to eastern Ukraine went against the Minsk agreement and could threaten the peace process. He urged Kiev not to violate the signed agreement and said parties to the Minsk deal should use their influence to persuade both sides to honor the agreement.
