Lybians vote for constitutional assembly
(VOVworld) - Lybians on Tuesday started to vote for a constitutional assembly to resolve the stalled transitional period since protests ousted leader Moamer Kadhafi in 2011.

The assembly will be composed of 60 members from Libya's three regions. 12 positions will be given to female candidates and ethnic groups. 692 candidates including 73 women have been campaigning, according to the High National Election Commission. The number of people who registered to vote was reported to be 1.1 million, 3 times lower than in the 2012 election for a General National Congress.
