(VOVworld) - Two Belgian women police officers were wounded by a man wielding a machete outside police station in the city of Charleroi on Saturday.

The terror suspect was shot dead immediately.  Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel strongly condemned the attack calling it an act of terrorism. The attack took place when Belgium is still reminded under alert level 3. Alert level 3 means that the threat is serious, possible and probable.
