(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations and the Vietnam-Romania Friendship Organization co-organized a meeting the mark Romania’s 96th National Day on December 1.
Romanian Ambassador to Vietnam Valeriu Arteni said since Romania established diplomatic ties with Vietnam 65 years ago, the two countries have implemented several agreements and cooperative programs in education, science, radio and TV broadcast. 
MoU signed this year between Timisoara and Da Nang, Iasi and Hue, Tulcea and Ben Tre will enhance the two countries’ relationship. Hundreds of Romanian experts are working in Vietnam and Vietnam has sent over 1,000 guest workers to Romania.

The Ambassador said Vietnam-Romania relationship has contributed practically to the EU-Vietnam relationship. Romania supported the signing of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement, he said.
