At a meeting of the subcommittee for socio-economic affairs preparing for the 13th Party Congress in 2021, Mr. Phuc suggested the development plans take into consideration the global trend and the fourth industrial revolution.

"Localities should report their socio-economic achievements and challenges within the past 5 and 10 years as well as measures to existing issues. They should also propose plans and strategies until 2030 and vision until 2045. The Mekong Delta region and Ho Chi Minh city need to strengthen connection to ensure sustainable socio-economic development, security, and defense," said PM Phuc.
