(VOVworld) – Vietnamese Minister of Public Security To Lam and Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Sar Kheng have agreed to continue implementing agreements signed between the two ministries and boost coordination in combating crime and ensuring security and order in each country.

During their talks in Phnom Penh on Wednesday, both sides agreed to increase information and experience sharing in the fight against drugs and high tech crime. They also reached a consensus on sharing experience in managing and rehabilitating prisoners and in training officials for the Cambodian Interior Ministry.

The two leaders signed a supplement to the 2016 cooperation plan between the two ministries.
