(VOVworld) – Miss Universe Vietnam’s semi-final will take place in Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province, on Tuesday. The contest’s jury board will select 45 out of 64 candidates for the final round scheduled for October 3^rd. Tran Ngoc Nhat, head of the event’s organizing board, said: "Miss Universe Vietnam is different from other beauty contests with criteria based on Vietnamese women’s beauty, intelligence and spirit. Moreover, the contest has the authorization of the Miss Universe contest and our winner will represent Vietnam to take part in this year’s Miss Universe."
A tiara worth more than 100,000 USD will be presented to the contest’s winner.
