Mozambique Prime Minister concludes Vietnam’s visit

(VOVWORLD) -Mozambique’s Prime Minister Carlos Agostinho do Rosario has concluded an official visit to Vietnam. During the visit from July 31 to August 3, he held talks with Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, and paid a courtesy visit to Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

He also worked with the National Committee for response to incidents, natural disasters and search and rescue, and visited the Viettel headquarters. He laid wreaths at the Monument to Heroes and War Martyrs and visited the Ho Chi Minh President Mausoleum.

At meetings, both sides expressed their satisfaction for the Vietnam-Mozambique traditional friendship and agreed to support each other at international forums. Mozambique had called for Vietnamese businesses to invest in trade, petroleum, marine transport, agricultural processing and fishery. Both countries agreed to turn Mozambique into Vietnam’s top partner in the South Sahara region.

The two Prime Ministers witnessed the signing of a MOU on wildlife protection and conservation and the initialling of an agreement on aviation transport services.
