During the three-day event, participants discussed conflicts in the Middle East, the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula, Trans-Atlantic relations, and European Union efforts to deepen defense cooperation. They shared a new security treaty between the European Union and Britain after Brexit. MSC Chairman Wolfgang Ischinger said all parties knew what the new challenges are but called for concrete steps after the conference.
