NA Chairwoman praises Vietnam U23’s excellent performance
(VOVWORLD) - The tremendous spirit of Vietnam’s U23 football squad has kindled the Vietnamese people’s love and hope for national football and inspired football fans all around the world, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan said at a meeting with the team on Monday.
"Winning the silver medal at the Asian Football Confederation U23 Championship shows that Vietnam can do better in many other fields. The team’s success encourages young people to work harder for bigger achievements and will always remain a great source of pride for Vietnam," Madam Ngan said.
NA Chairwoman Ngan thanked head coach Park Hang-seo, saying she hopes he will continue his contributions to Vietnamese football and the friendship between Vietnam and South Korea.
