(VOVworld) – National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan has praised the World Bank for supporting Vietnam in approximately 170 projects.

At a meeting with the World Bank CEO Kristalina I. Georgieva on Thursday, Madam Ngan said the Vietnam-World Bank Country Partnership Framework that the World Bank is working on have similarities to Vietnam’s development priorities. She urged the World Bank to work closely with Vietnam’s government agencies to complete the document. She said the Vietnamese National Assembly will closely oversee WB-funded project to ensure their efficiency. The WB CEO said the World Bank would continue to help Vietnam, especially in legislation, SOE restructuring, administrative reforms and climate change responses.
