Madam Ngan asked the Port leaders to support Ho Chi Minh city and other Vietnamese localities in port infrastructure development; maritime training; logistics service; and flood prevention. She hailed the Dutch Government–funded International Business Program on cooperation between Vietnam and the Netherlands in sea, port and inland waterways.

During a reception for leaders of the Netherlands-Vietnam Chamber of Commerce (NVCC), NA Chairwoman Ngan said she hoped the NVCC will help Dutch enterprises explore and invest in Vietnam’s market. She said Vietnam is committed to creating a favorable, transparent and equal legal environment for foreign investors.

At a reception for Hermen Borst, Director of the Staff of the Delta Program Commissioner, Ngan said she hoped to learn from the Netherlands in sustainably developing the Mekong Delta.
