NA deputies vow to meet voters’ aspiration

(VOVWORLD) - Voters from several regions of Vietnam applauded policies which promote socio-economic development and better living standards in discussions with several NA deputies on Wednesday, following the end of the 4th session of the 14th National Assembly.

They applauded the Party and State’s fight against corruption, urging even stronger measures to deal with it. Socio-economic development, defense-security, environmental protection, education, infrastructure improvement in remote areas, and policies to benefit revolutionary contributors were also put under the spotlight.

NA deputies vowed to forward voter’s proposals to the National Assembly and relevant agencies. Present at the discussions were Minister of National Defesce General Ngo Xuan Lich, Politburo member and Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City’s Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan, and Government Chief Inspector Le Minh Khai.
