NA Standing Committee comments on gender equality national targets
(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Standing Committee deputies on Wednesday commented on a government report on gender equality national targets.

The report praised gender equality achievements in law and policies for more female engagement in all aspects of life, particularly the percentage of women participating in National Assembly and People’s Council. A month of action for gender equality and preventing gender-based violence took place for the first time with widespread repercussion. Delegates also agreed on the government’s proposal to retain parts of foreign affairs fees to care for public servants’ living standards.
