NA Standing Committee discusses draft Law on Animal Husbandry
(VOVWORLD) -National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan has suggested that the draft Law on Animal Husbandry regulate purebred and crossbred domestic animals to preserve rare, precious genes.
Ms. Ngan addressed the 23rd session of the National Assembly Standing Committee in Hanoi on Friday: “It’s necessary to review and amend general regulations on animal feeds to make them compatible with international laws and treaties to which Vietnam is a signatory. Businesses in animal feeds should be created with favorable conditions.”
Ms. Ngan also requested that the draft law aid the development of the animal husbandry industry towards value chain, added value, food safety, and environmental hygiene.
