NA Standing Committee opens 34th session

(VOVWORLD) - The National Assembly Standing Committee, 14th tenure, opened its 34th session on Wednesday.

During the 3-day meeting, the committee will discuss the draft Law on Amendments, Supplements to the Law on Public Investment, the revised Labor Code, and Vietnam’s joining the International Labor Organization’s Right to Organize and Collective Bargaining Convention No. 98.

Committee members will review a report on dealing with voters’ opinions sent to the NA’s sixth session, and a report on voters’ opinions sent to the seventh session.

They will also exchange opinions on the Government’s report on assessments of the implementation of the 2018 socio-economic development and state budget plan, and implementation of the socio-economic development and state budget plan in the first months of 2019. The NA Standing Committee is scheduled to discuss the use of 430 million USD saved from decreases in project investments, and the establishment of several new administrative units in Dong Nai province.
