(VOVworld) - The 14th National Assembly’s Standing Committee opened its seventh session in Hanoi on Monday.

The committee debates pending issues related to draft amendments to the Penal Code and the draft Law on Irrigation. Other topics include the issuance of a government decree regulating specialized mechanisms and policies for Ho Chi Minh City, and the list of Vietnam’s national projects, and the specific capital distribution for each project in the national medium-term public investment plan until 2020. The session will conclude on Tuesday.
