The regular session of the National Assembly Standing Committee wrapped up on Wednesday with a draft resolution on the enforcement of regulations governing the issuance of legal documents by People’s Councils and People’s Committees. National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung said that the resolution needs to be fine-tuned to improve the performances of elected bodies: “The law-making process should involve related agencies and full-time National Assembly deputies. The Standing Committee should better prepare all draft laws before submitting them to the National Assembly for approval.”
