(VOVworld)- On Saturday, a delegation of the National Assembly Standing Committee inspected the law enforcement and socio economic development in Dak Lak and Dak Nong province.

In his address, Mr. Nguyen Kim Khoa, Head of the NA’s Commission for National Defense and Security, praised local authorities and people for their efforts to boost local socio-economic development and maintain law, order and national defense. He asked the two provinces to accelerate the new rural development program. He urged them to pay more attention to border areas, effectively implement policies for ethnic minority and religious affairs and ensure sustainable poverty reduction. Mr. Khoa said:“Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces belong to the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Development Triangle. Leaders of the three countries’ governments and National Defense Committees agreed to work together to boost external relations, strengthen economic development, and push back threats relating to border security. Vietnam aims to develop a comprehensive and flexible relationship with these countries”.
